Hotel Room Block for the Conference

The 2017 hotel for the Conference is The Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, which overlooks the St. John’s historic harbour, and picturesque downtown. The Sheraton is a modern hotel that is less than five minutes’ walk to the bottom of the famous Signal Hill, a world national historic site, and just minutes to over 100 shopping and dining options. A rate of $219.00 CAN per night has been negotiated for delegates.

Delegates are to make their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly at 1-888-870-3033 or through e-mail at reservations@sheratonhotelnewfoundland.com on an individual basis. Hotel Reservations is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Newfoundland Standard Time. Guests should identify themselves as members of the group, Ocean Innovation – 2017, in order to qualify for the contracted group rate. A valid credit card must be provided at the time of booking to guarantee a reservation. Reservations must be made by the reservation due date of 15-Sept-2017. If a reservation is not canceled before 6:00 pm the day prior to arrival and the guest does not arrive as scheduled, a no-show fee of the first night room & tax will be billed to the credit card.
